How many decks are there in the game?

One standard deck of 52 cards is used. ( There is not any JOKER )

How many players are at the table?

Gin rummy is a 2 player game.

What is the value of the cards?

Cards in each suit rank, from low to high:

Ace is 1 point.

Face cards Jack, Queen and King's value is 10 points.

Number cards are worth their spot (index) value.

Is there any joker in the deck?

No, joker is not include on Gin Rummy game.

How many cards do each players have for playing?

Each player is dealt ten cards on their hands.

What is the Object of the game?

The object of the game is to collect a hand where most or all of the cards can be combined into sets and runs and the point value of the remaining unmatched ( deadwood ) cards is low.

What is the scoring of the game?

The game is scored based on how much deadwood each players have at the end of each game.

If the knocker's count is lower, the knocker scores the difference between the two counts.

If the knocker did not go gin and the counts are equal or the knocker's count is greater than that of the opponent, the knocker has been undercut.

What does Deadwood means?

Any remaining cards from your hand which are not part of a valid combination ( set or run ) are called deadwood.

What is the Sets?

Three or four cards of the same rank, for example

What is the Runs?

Three or more cards in sequence in the same suit, for example

What is the valid run?

Ace-2-3 is a valid Run, but Queen-King-Ace is not a valid Run.

What does Knock means, when is a player able to Knock?

A player with 10 or fewer points of deadwood may knock.

Where is the Knock button for knocking?

The Knock button appears on their avatar, when the player is able to knock.

What does Gin means, when can a player go Gin?

If all 10 or 11 cards in a player's hand fit into melds and thereby the player has no deadwood, the player can go Gin.

Where is the Gin button for go Gin?

The Gin button appears on their avatar, when the player can go Gin.

Is there any extra bonus for Gin?

The player going Gin receives a Gin bonus of 25 points plus any deadwood points in the opponent's hand.

What does Undercut means?

If the knocker did not go gin and the counts are equal or the knocker's count is greater than that of the opponent, the knocker has been undercut.

Is there any extra bonus/punishment for Undercut?

In this case the knocker's opponent scores the difference between the counts plus a 25 point bonus.

When does the game finish?

The game ends when a player reaches 100 or more points

Why does starting card face up, after dealing?

The player who did not deal chooses whether to take the turned up-card. If the non-dealer declines it, the dealer may take the card. If both players refuse the turned-up card, the non-dealer draws the top card from the stock pile.

How many seconds do players have on their turn for playing?

Each players has 15 seconds on their turn for complete their turn.

How can I draw a card or discard a card?

You can draw or discard a card by Drag&drop feauter or double clicking.

What happens if one of the player doesn't draw a card on their turn?

System draw a card from stock pile and discard it by auto.

If it happens 3 times in a row, player is kicked out from the table and opponent is determined as a winner of the game.

How can I learn Gin Rummy by playing?

In order to learn the rules of Gin Rummy Plus by playing, click to "Tutorial" button.

What happens if i quit before the game is over?

If you left the table before the game ends, you lose all your bet for that game.

What happens if i my internet/wi-fi connection is lost middle of the game?

No worries. Gin Rummy Plus disconnection protection help you re-connect. If the game is not finished yet and your connection is stable, it will immediately connect to the game, and get you back up and running.
